Leeds Utd v Wolves Matchday Thread

Welcome to the next game of the Easter Break, obviously being hailed as a "must win" game for Leeds, (aren't they all ? )
After a gruelling 95mins against the magpies on Friday night and coming away with the "Mugging of the Season Award", hopefully GM and the Lads will be fit and ready to take us another step forward

Venue...Elland Road...Date..17th April..Kick Off 1500hrs

Team News
Leeds United
Garry Monk will hope to have Ronaldo Vieira fully fit, Vieira dropped to the bench at Newcastle United on Friday after suffering through illness on the day of the game.

Liam Cooper will once again be missing for Leeds as he serves the fourth game of his six-match suspension.

Marco Silvestri and Tyler Denton remain sidelined through injury.

Wolves
Wolves could once again be without Helder Costa who missed the defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday with an ankle injury.

Carl Ikeme, Joe Mason and Connor Ronan all remain sidelined through injury for Wolves.

Match facts
◾Leeds have won their last three league encounters with Wolves, each by a single goal margin.
◾Wolves have left with all three points in two of their last four visits to Elland Road. They had won two of their previous 22 games there beforehand.
◾Leeds have won all three of their matches on a Monday this season - 4-1 at Preston and 3-0 against Rotherham in the Championship and 2-1 at Cambridge in the FA Cup.
◾Wolves have a similarly good record on Mondays, winning five of their last six league games played on this weekday (D1).
◾The Whites have only conceded two first half goals at Elland Road in the Championship this season - they haven't conceded a first half goal in any of their last 12 home games since a Dwight Gayle strike for Newcastle in November.

No doubt about it then, another big game and hopefully, being a Bank Holiday a sell out crowd to cheer the Mighty Whites and terrify the opposition, I can really see confidence within the Team being pretty high for this one
I'm up for a 2-0 Result with Woody adding both to his Seasons tally

To fall out of the top 6 at a critical time after so long in it is the bit that hurts - Let's hope it all flips again next time - also noticed Burton played very well today.

I fear we may well lose Bartley and Pontus next season. PL teams sniffing

As aleady stated Sir Garry, managed the Swans to a double over Man U & the Gooners in the same season, only 3 managers have done that. Not lucky to do that. He is not inept, just not got the personel?
