How Good Can Rashford Be?

Are we over-estimating him as he is one of our own? Or is he really going to be one of the best forwards in years to come?

From what we have seen in the last 2 seasons, we have a player who has bags of pace and knows how to take a man on. Decent finisher but could improve on this. Makes very good runs in behind teams and stretching the opposition defence.

One thing I would like to see from him is more skill in his game, only because I know he has it in his locker ie. Cruyff turn and rabona cross yesterday.

So how good is Rashford? Mbappe level? A level below? Better than Iheanacho and Iwobi for me. Only included Iwobi because Arsenal fans rate him, I do not.

Sterling definitely played out wide and definitely scored more goals and definitely assisted more in an attack that was definitely more potent.

It's some remarkable delusion. Sterling was a different class from Rashford at 19. I remember the guy terrified the feck out of me. And I never bothered to check any stats to compare. Just my memory of watching both. Sterling 's link-up play was superior and effective all across the frontline, his dribbling was 2 classes above with his pace and balance, his movement off the ball was surprisingly fantastic for one so young. His problem at the time was his appalling finishing and delivery out wide (his through balls were pretty slick). If anything, Sterling these days has lost that bit of expression in his game.

you can't compare sterling as a wide man to rashford as a wide man.

rashford finished last season with 5 goals in 11 PL games; at the same age sterling had 2 PL goals in 39 appearances.

and your memory is obviously fading, unless we're ignoring rashford's PL debut.

I think he will be a United legend. On the level of the class of 92,maybe higher.

Unless he gets lured away by a CL side...

If he wants to fulfill his potential he needs to come to Spurs

Rashford is a generational talent like Mbappe and both will become top class.

Watching him last season i knew that he was special, his game intelligence and link up play was excellent, to go along with his ice cold finishing and high shot conversion rate.

Of course, this season he had a small blip which is understandable as he is so young, but he looks like he is back to his 15/16 form now which is a delight to see.

Spurs won't last where they are IMO. They've recruited excellently over the last few seasons but that won't happen every season. Miss out on top 4 once and their squad will be picked at by others.

Iwobi is considerably better in link-up play, far more precise in his passing and more creative
