How sad

RIP Ugo

A loyal and really decent player for both teams.

Very sad news. A lovely chap by all accounts.

RIP and deepest condolences to his family.

A decent guy and solid professional. Gone too young. RIP Ugo Ehiogu.

Dalian Atkinson Graham Taylor and now UGO

Watching Merson nearly made me cry too..........

I just see the Merton interview and almost welled up myself.

I remember Ugo being a tireless defender and always seemed like a genuinely nice bloke in interviews.

RiP what a cruel world

Indeed. Terrible news.

Ehiogu was a class defender, very much in the mould of Allan Evans/Ken McNaught! And definitely deserved more England caps than the 4 he actually got!

One of the Villa Greats, I would say

Losing Dalian Atkinson, Graham Taylor & Ugo in less than a year.

Three Villans who left a real impression on the club and supporters.

Hopefully Sunday we can give Ugo a real good send off.

Puts it all into perspective
