Unlucky Spurs.

Good game to watch and i thought you played well; the difference as always is from the bench, cfc bring on 3 top top players and bang game over.

Tbf city are the same, squad depth is so important. So...all you have to do to make the next step is spend around £200M AND keep your current crop...nobody said it was easy eh!

(btw....were kinda in same boat, we need to increase our squad with real real quality)

Spurs were much the better side, hard to believe they were comfortably beaten in the end conceding four goals in the process.

Mauricio Trophy Dodgertinno strikes again.

Issue now is will spurs implode like last season?? Has to be a worry esp as we could win tmrw and be 2 points behind..i know they have games in hand but better to have points.......if we win!

No sympathy for Spurs at all. Gobby fans always trumping up their team as if they are big time.

When it came down to business they were easily brushed aside as usual.

Very unlikely but not impossible I guess.

Think that today will affect them mentally though. They were considerably the better side but have lost, that's tough to take.

Didn't half your fans award yourselves the title after you beat Chelsea at SB?

Eriksen is one player that's for sure. He will be at either Bayern or Barca within the next year or two I imagine with Alli going to Real.

Unlucky for Spurs, up against a good side. Just lacking maybe a little bit of a "winners" experience in the squad really.

Spurs fans have calmed in my opinion, i only had a go at them before after they slagged us which imo is silly because recently we hit cup finals and had title challenges plus we won way more over the last 20yrs etc.

I think they have realised until they do something they cant crow.

Spurs played well but Chelsea always looked likely to score on the counter.

I said with half hour left that Spurs look like they are dominating the game but I bet Chelsea will win.

Spurs didn't really trouble Courtois too often. Scored two excellent goals but didn't do a lot other than that in terms of real goalmouth incident. It was all in front of Chelsea, forcing them back but it wasn't penetrating.

Chelsea didn't attack often but looked likely to score every time they did. Scored 4 and could have had more in the end.

Conte learnt from the defeat at WHL and got his tactics spot on, leaving Hazard and out of form Costa out meant they had more workrate and pace which really troubled Spurs, who are not as compact at Wembley. While Poch took a risk with Son at left wing back and it didn't pay off.

These small details could be why Conte ends up being a serial winning manager and Poch ends up being a good one who doesn't win anything.
