Lucky? Chelsea committed 19 fouls and received no yellow cards at all for those fouls. The one they got was for kicking he ball away. Tottenham committed 11 fouls and got 2 yellows, directly conceding goals from two of those (the penalty and free kick).
Still not convinced about the penalty as however ridiculous Son was, there was literally zero contact. Moses forgot to run into Son's leg before the dive. Can't blame the officials as the push and jump was very convincing. I thought in real time there was contact. Most players dive, get over it.
It would be unfair to call it luck though. I think Jenas was right to say that in open play it would appear like Spurs were "bossing it", but being clinical isn't the same as being lucky. Only one of Chelsea's goals was from a legitimate chance, the penalty, and the rest were all brilliantly converted half chances. In fact, the first three all call came from set pieces.
Point is we've been here before. In open play we dominated the first half of the game at Stamford Bridge and then Pedro just scores from nothing.
Criticism of Poch misses the point here imo. If you have a bench that you paid more for than your opponents starting lineup you are going to have enough game changing players to play badly and win.
Lucky chaaaaavs?

We had 11 corners and they score from their 1 and only, that is clinical.
Matic could try that shot again 100 times it wouldn't go in.

Could have been, should have been, might have been.
You could be right, but this one did go in and it seemed to suck the life out from Spurs.

Forgot to mention Willian should have been sent off also.
Football matches are often decided by refereeing influence, they have the power to heavily influence the dynamic of a game with their decision making, it`s why teams like Chelsea regularly use gamesmanship to win matches, they keep being rewarded for it and so keep on doing it.
Look no further than Klanfield this afternoon for another example of how biased refereeing can influence a result.

Rubbish. Spurs get more calls because they have English players up front and they get away with a lot of diving and exaggeration. Yesterday, Spurs got a lot of fouls that weren't really fouls. I agree the ref missed Willian's terrible challenge but it came after two unpunished bad challenges on him. Also, If Costa was English, he'd be a hero (and I'm not the greatest fan of Costa) but instead he's a villain.

Eric,
The game is over! Spurs choked as they often do when the pressure is on. Be gracious and admit that the better team won and look forward to next season!
