Did I just read some idiot saying Fellaini commits these ridiculous fouls under Jose's orders?

There was nothing tactical or clever at all about some of the fouls Fellaini gave away in the first half.

Some of the fouls he and a few others committed did nothing but provide a side who are dangerous from set plays their most likely route back into the game. Not something José would've been pleased about.

As for Ashley Barnes being creative.

He's a lump. There to be a nuisance for defenders, to provide a physical presence and a focal point in attack for Burnley to feed off.

Fellaini did a decent job of nullifying him I guess although it wasn't as if it was Drogba he was up against.

Blind has been good for us. shame he hasn't played more. Can't understand why Darmian gets the nod ahead of him at LB. He's useless...

Blind looked very rusty thurs but was back to his composed self yesterday. Good performance!

Glad Fellaini can't be selected for these big PL away games. A great tactical foul near Man City defensive third with most of our players back and then a great attempt at a head butt on someone much shorter.
