Sakho

Yesterday when Benteke scored he went over to Sakho and they did a camp handshake like those Spurs boys do.

Sakho is still a Liverpool player and has a contract with our club. Last week he said "I still belong to Liverpool, a great team with a great manager, a club I really appreciate. I had this great relationship with the Liverpool fans and the players"

He is getting slaughtered on Twitter for celebrating a Palace goal against his club and I actually think it is disrespectful.

I rate Sakho really highly and was gutted when we sent him on loan. I understand why Klopp sent him on loan and I respected that decision. I was hoping he would come back to us but after that performance yesterday I want him out of our club for showing disrespect.

How do you guys feel about his celebration?

Sakho was commended by the under 23's coach for his application and positive influence on the youngsters before he went on loan.

He fooked up yes, but that was on the back of the whole fake drug scandal where he couldn't play in a Euro final and couldn't represent his country at the Euros!

He was trying hard to make up for his wrongs, but Klopp and co chose to snub his efforts and he went on loan to a club that respected him and believed in him and he's obviously bonded with Benteke who has had similar treatment...

I get moving Benteke on, but only if you are gonna replace him!

I get the decision with Sakho too, if the club want to be that stubborn... But again replace him!!

The club/manager have fooked up here imo

Thats an awesome spin you've put on the whole situation

Kind of wish he's just gone all out and offered the Kop out or something.

I like Sakho as a player. Quick, strong, good in that air and can pass the ball out from the back.

However his attitude cost him at PSG and he was sold. He then fell out with Rodgers and has then fallen foul of Klopp.

Personally I want a manager who demands a high level of professionalism from his players. Sakho throughout his career has fallen well short in this regard. I've no problem with Klopp's stance. If he feels he's a disruptive influence and doesn't want him that's fine by me.

His place on the bench followed by his fashionably poncey handshake changes very little.

If Sakho is an outcast then it would appear that that is in the mind of the manager and player alone. He, Mahmoud, has enjoyed widespread support from the fans for both before and after his loan to CP.

And that was my own view too. I've posted many times in the hope that he returns to the fold. After yesterday, if nothing else an extremely public and naive celebration, in the stadium itself - didn't anyone advise him or is he just too thick - effectively ended his career with the club. There's no way back for him now.

Goodbye and good luck Mamoud.

Again it's mainly Sakho not engaging brain again unfortu ately.

Realistically, he should've been nowhere near the pitch yesterday. Whether that's on Liverpool, Crystal palace, or the player himself, he should've been tucked away in a corporate box, avoiding this whole issue.

That said, I'm getting tired of the constant stream of drama surrounding him.

Can't see what the drama is... he's a players that's passionate about the game, ironic as this was conspicuous by it's absence on Sunday. He'd probably have better served himself by avoiding that situation with Benteke but if there is finger pointing to be done then Klopp will need to take it.
