Five of those goals have been from the bench as well. He's proven to be a very good squad striker this season.

I guess this issue is that he doesn't want to be a squad striker.
There is a world cup next year so I'd assume lots of players will be moving in quest for first team football.

Although realistically, with the strikers/forwards France have, I doubt he would be part of the final squad even if playing regularly

Good point, IAWT. I dunno about the last part, though. Dechamps seems to like his target men. I think he'll make the world cup even if he's a squad player at Arsenal just because of his experience and style of play.

We do have some quite young, fast and exciting strikers coming along (Coman, Mbappe, Dembele (*2), Martial, etc..). I hope at least 2-3 of them will have a great season next year so that we don't have the need of a target man. It would be a shame if one of them miss out for Giroud

Lacazette and Gamierio were left at home for Gignac and Giroud at the Euros.

That tells me all I need to know about the type of striker Dechamps wants. We'll see, though. France have an embarrassment of riches in attack.

£20m, fack me, I'd bite their hand off and thir whole arm for that matter.
