Nah, he's just making sure we get a decent fee for him; don't want to come across as desperate to sell him but he won't be at PP next season unless we enter the Johnstones Paints Milk Trophy.

Name better central defenders who are availble to us?

Where as most central defenders drawing breath would be better than Keogh, how are we supposed to know if they are `available'.

They're all available if the money's right; Keogh's a big earner at the club as I understand it, and isn't worth it.

If you think most defenders drawing breath would be better than Keogh then you must be looking at a different game to me. Sounds more like a comment based on prejudice than observation.

I can tell you two central defenders who aren't as good. They are Shackell and Pearce. Best central defender in the Championship this season was Bartley at Leeds, on loan from Swansea. Worth a bid assuming Leeds aren't promoted.
