I know there have been bumps along the way & performances in the Cups has been pretty Cr@p but fair play to Poch & the entire squad for the way we have played over the Past 2 years. To put into context a league table from the start of last season to today....
1) Tottenham........ 141 Points
2) Man City.............130 Points
3) Man United..........129 Points
4) Chelsea.................128 Points
5) Arsenal................128 Points
6) Liverpool..............126 Points
7) Leicester.............118 Points
8)Everton ................105 Points
9) Southampton.... 103 Points
Sadly there are no trophies for such consistency and I know we are still fragile in a big game but bearing in mind, our net spend, new stadium, young squad and the fact the all of the above would kill for most of our team and pay wages way bigger than us...... its a bl00dy good effort, Especially when you think about where were as a club/team following the sales of Bale, Modric etc

Consistency is the thing we have always lacked. We have often had some superb players, capable of great performances and periods of good form but we have earned the Spursy tag through our sheer consistency at being inconsistent. Beat top teams one week, lose to rubbish the next.
To have shown such consistency over 2 seasons is a very welcome change and the fact it is now over an extended period shows real progress, not just a flash in the pan. We are building something, that's for sure !

You need to be consistent each individual season, not consistent over two seasons. This season you are consistent and that is reflected in the fact that you are challenging Chelsea so strongly for the title. Even though you were in the title race last season, you actually were nowhere near consistent enough to win it and your final points tally showed that.
But yes, you are building something.

Rome wasnt built in a day......You cant just gain consistency, it takes time and ours has been improving all the time, to the position we are in now where we have dropped just 7 points in 51 (17 games), going back to mid December.
Last season we were at the start of that process, and overall we were quite consistent (except for the very end when the title was gone) but that has improved further this season.
