We just CANNOT let Utd nip into CL via the league, they are essentially W Brom with resources! We owe it to football and the teams in the CL to make sure we get 3rd or 4th; hoofutd are down two hoofs in Ibra and failini for their next game and also another big un in Pogba is out.
Its going to be nip and tuck unil seasons end, but we SIMPLY MUST NOT let maureens cr@p defensive tactics and hoof for hell get him a CL spot; if he dpes it validates this awful defensive footy and hoofing.
I get Stoke, W Brom etc hoof and defending deep because they have zero resources, but utd have "the special case" in charge and unlimited resources; i will be massively disillusioned with premier league football if this fraud in charge of utd get CL using their awful tactics!

Think it'll be a big ask for Liverpool to not be in the CL places at the end of the season. Points on the board is better than games in hand.
That said, will it be a wasted spot? Can Liverpool realistically make any impression with this current squad? Given that Klopp doesn't spend money on players and just develops them, it could be a couple of seasons too soon.

You might be right, our squad is relatively weak compared to those around us.
At least it would make for an interesting game though and not clog the NHS up with attempted suicides!

Unfortunately our players mostly turn up for big games. So CL I think we would do well. It's probably the game after CL when we play the likes of Brighton at home we will drop points. Don't forget we reached the Europa League final last season Klopp knows how to play European night fixtures.

In terms of entertainment, we ought to be in the CL next season ahead of United on the evidence of their displays in big games but I do have concerns about our remaining fixtures. On paper, our run in looked great but considering how our season has gone and how we've struggled against the lower placed teams, I think it's going to be a tough final four finals and I can't see us picking up all 12 remaining points sadly. Anything can still happen and the others may drop points but if we were to lose to Watford, top 4 would be gone imo.
Yeah, United are even more boring than they were last season, some achievement. Liverpool MUST make sure they finish above them.

Excellent article they have played turgid boring antifootball this season, were it lvg or Moyes 🔔 ends like stretty would be telling us they won't go next season because it's not entertaining 😂
What a horrible style of football to have to watch.
At least the united fans on here can switch their laptops or TVs off, can you imagine being stuck at old Traffordd watching it.

It is so much a fan will take of the style of football played. Look at Pulis and Stoke how that eventually ended. I reckon if same happens next year we will start seeing many of them revolting.

Football clubs don't invest in cancer research or feeding the poor. Money either goes on transfers or lining the pockets of rich people, a minuscule amount goes on helping the community around the football club.
In that context hope the "spink" another 400 million in the summer on Griezmann and a few others.
I don't get to lift the trophies and I don't get to celebrate on the bus, the best a fan can hope for is to be able to watch world class players.
This is something Liverpool are miles away from doing, maybe that will change once you build a new stadium and higher a manager who doesn't dig around the bargain bin.
