You'd think from all the crying on here that we lost tonight.

Let's cheer the fack up.

๐Ÿ’ŽWe win our game in hand and we're 4th on Sunday
๐Ÿ’ŽWe have a very winnable European semi final on Thursday
๐Ÿ’ŽWe have a very good defence. Second best in the land.
๐Ÿ’ŽUnbeaten since 23rd October in the league (we've played everyone at least once since then!)
๐Ÿ’ŽWe have a cup won already.

Life ain't bad at all. It could be worse. We could end up trophyless like City, Spurs and Liverpool. Tonight was our 8th game in 26 days before another (possible) 8 games in 25 days. What did you expect?

We got a point a a very tough away ground and now top 4 qualification is in our hands

From all the queening on here over the past 10 hours you'd think we lost!

It's almost as if Jose knows how to prioritise. There's this pretty important game coming up in 6 days..

Robbie, people are happy with the point.

They are not happy with the way it was achieved

They are entitled to that view as they have seen similar things happen this season against Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Why you have a problem with this is a mystery considering how often you share your views with us

We were defensive tonight but still had a two very good chances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That is the most pointless point ever. Facking league 1 teams can muster good chances in cup matches against top teams, doesnt make their performance any good.

Mourinho is teaching us the art of polishing a tord and simple minded folks are learning desperately in a chase for success by all means. Nothing to be proud about here. This is not Burnley going to old trafford and getting a draw after being battered. We are facking Man United.

Come on! Who do you think you support?

Manchester United?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is an odd game against one of the best sides I. The league. It's not the norm.

It's called tactics, against a team like city you need them.

When you look at the personnel we had available, especially in cm we didn't have much of a choice.

When did we play like this against Arsenal? And we played very well when we beat Chelsea.

Earlier in the season we play out of our skin in several games in which we don't get the results we wanted. People complain like hell and maintain that performances come second to results, and the bottom line is collecting points.

Now we play poorly but get the results people were hoping for. People complain about the tactics and performance completely ignoring their previous assertions.

In short, the United 606 board whines. That's what it does. That's how it rolls.

To be fair we've only been defensive in 2 games that I can recall. Liverpool (who were banging the goals in while we had a shaky run of form) away and City away. I imagine we would have been defensive v Chelsea away had we not conceded two early goals. Going away to places like that I don't mind parking the bus as a draw isn't a bad result. We have not been defensive in any of our other games, really don't see what people are whinging about. the vast majority of our draws have not been down to the style of play but the finishing of our attackers. How anyone can see different frankly is beyond me. Hate bringing up Fergie in these type of threads, but he put in some masterful defensive displays to get results in tough places.

When we went a goal up and sat back and lost the lead in the 90th minute.

How many times have we played Chelsea this season Robbie?
