If he keeps up with these performances in big games then, for me, yes. I plan to get a ST and don't want to be paying to watch these types of games.

I think that's a fair comment. It wss pretty drab watching yday but the two most standout games were yday and Anfield. Both 'jose bore fezts' but bith in the grand scheme of things looking like vital points. Ill take that.

Considering how rarely I criticise a manager I do not like, I find that comment stupid to be honest.

It is interesting how the goal posts can be adjusted though.

Season 1 for your beloved sloth was top 4 and cup. 1/2
Same for Jose whos on course to do better.

Both managers spent shed loads yet one showed an improvement in season 1and the other was banging on about process and time in season 1.

You didn't want him out for his results. In reality if Jose doesn't win Europa, LVG will have likely had two better seasons than Jose's first.

You wanted him out for the same reason you call him sloth. His possession orientated, risk free football.

Yeah because he did nothing. For everyone game jose plays like yesterday we have 3 or four burnley type games. Under sloth we had games like yday in abundance becayse he may as well have parked the bus every game as shootung was non existent

Burnley is the only game we have played that exciting counter attacking football (first half) all season from memory.

I expect Jose will win us things, I have said so from the start. I also expect the side will not be remembered for it's potent attack, but the games Jose is famous for. Nights like last night, the games he's won versus Barca for Inter and Madrid, the way he played at OT with Porto.

SAF had some amazing teams that played great football but ultimately he'll be remembered for the wins like the jose ones. 99 / 08 weren't the swash buckling games we all want but both were wins we'lll never forget like those fans wont vs Barca and Madrid.

99 and 08 had plenty of great football throughout the season though to be fair.

Let's be straight here, Jose is a serial winner, that's why we took him on. He will never play an attacking style as default, it's just not his way, this isn't a debate this is a fact.

I have my opinion on this style as you well know, however I'd also like to see us win a PL to avoid becoming Liverpool.

I find his style of play to be exciting once he gets the right players, like his first time around with Chelsea having Robben and Duff etc, or at Madrid.

The pace in which his sides attack is key, but the players have to be ruthless in front of goal for it to work, which is where we are lacking.

I find it's more down to the individual than the style, but I see what you mean.
