Gutted, Hurting

Raging and pretty much every other emotion of anger and upset... Yes, even beeling.

First things first, well done to Celtic on their best ever result at Ibrox. As difficult as it is to accept, they are heads and shoulders above us both on the pitch and off it, and the fact they have been so professional since winning the league is commendable. (And night and day between ourselves last season)

As for ourselves, the season is pretty much done now. No chance of catching the sheep and a decent gap to fourth. (Never thought I'd have to say that)

Something has to be done pronto to try turn this around. Our best player is a 38 year old striker, our only other player of note will be going back to Bournemouth. Major surgery required on the squad would be an understatement, with the names linked so far being a bit of a step in the right direction, imo (Jack & McLean from the sheep, for example)

I will get pelters for what I'm going to say, but fk it, it needs said. The problem is at board level. The current incumbents have lied to us, simple as that. They promised funds for this season and ultimately didn't provide anything near what they promised. Sure we brought in some players but nothing near the quality which was promised. Not that I'm harking back to the days of the gazebo or Somer et al, but a bit of putting words into action would be nice for once. Whether that is due to King not wanting Warburton in charge at all (he was convinced Warburton was the right man for the job) or something more sinister remains to be seen, but the fact is thus far, when it comes to on the pitch investment they've lied to us.

Seen Pedro came out and said the blame was all on him. Fair enough for him to cop it, but I don't think it is. Ultimately a lack of investment is to blame with what's on show. He states he wants to make big changes in the summer. He is certainly going to have to.

Just going to have to live in hope. I'm taking heart in the Ferrari F1 team so far off the pace for so many years, gap to Merc seemed insurmountable at one stage last year, but this season they have been re energised. All it takes is investment and leadership. Similar to where we currently are.

Well if I didn't have any hope I'd greet

Enjoy your success Celt's. It's been well deserved.

From a purely selfish point of view, I hope it's short lived

Gutted I never got to Ibrox for today's close game but I went to see St Mirren destroy Raith Rovers after it

To be fair it was only because i was watching f1 qualifying when writing this article

Purely because of the transformation in the team from the previous 9 years. Their first 1-2 since the final french grand Prix as far as I'm aware
