To put my comments in context, I am 70 years old and have followed Leeds United from the early seventies after Bradford Park Avenue were voted out of the football league.
Driving up to the game today I had this dark feeling that we would blow our last chance at the playoffs. I have been to all but 2 of our home games this season so have watched our ' ups and downs'. So I decided that having been let down so many times in recent years by the club, that this would be my last season of raised expectations that would be dashed yet again and at my age I don't have the optimism of youth!
At half time it merely confirmed what I had already decided. However, as I drove home I realised one thing. When you support Leeds United, there is no let out clause so I will take my place in the east stand yet again next year. So let's hope the owners don't blow it with Monk and the nucleus of players that can make a more sustained push next season. I have loved the old taste of optimism that made it a pleasure to be there this season.

Ok guys I can take a few leg pulls! At that time, the fate of Park Avenue seemed terminal. So what did I do, follow Bradford City? Impossible!! Off I went to watch Leeds in the old 2nd division. It wasn't glory days just yet so I was not a bandwagon/ prawn sandwich type!!
