Not sure if Dembele is going to be fit to play today but if ever there was a game to just give him a painkilling injection, strap him up and send him out there then today is the day.
Without him and an injured WInks our CM is uninspiring and even Arsenal can easily press Dier/Wanyama and we will struggle to get good ball out of the midfield.
Dembele offers that power and possession, carries it forward well and make decent if not spectacular use of the ball and IMO is absolutely key to our success when playing top sides. He has bossed the midfield in the last few times we have played Arsenal, especially at the Lane. He needs to play and I will be slightly concerned if he doesnt.

Not sure tbh mate.
For me Dembele has to be 100% otherwise he doesn't look as good but then again a Dier/Waynama doesn't work well for me.

Don't think poch trusts Sissoko as a CM. He dropped Eriksen deeper against palace with Sissoko right.

I agree massively, if there's anyway he can play he has too as i think Wanyama is not quite back to his pre injury levels yet.
I'll contradict myself now though as we looked ok in the second half against the stripey nigels even though they had 12 men behind the ball.
I dont want another bad result like against chelsea and then say we was unlucky, played well etc, today is ALL about result and not performance.
Nearly 12 then I'll have a settler, just to calm the nerves.

For me if Dembele is out I would go with the 4141 myself.
Can get Son in the side, neither Eriksen or Alli are restricted by being put solely in centre-midfield, and we can have a real go at Monreal with Sissoko

I just do not see a need to risk dembele.
He has only completed 90 minutes seven times this season has been rested heavily cos of the long standing hip injury. Now has a problem with his ankle.
When dembele is not fit it shows massively in his game, he was struggling before the kick to his ankle against palace.
I do not want any passengers in this side today. They should to a man be ready to run through brick walls.
I dont want a player that will need to be subbed. That puts a strain on our game plan before the game even begins.
