To the crowd at the Awards Dinner, quote from twitter
"Radrizzani: give it 1-2 weeks for things on players and manager"
1. That's May not June
2. Suggests AR needs to sort some sheet
3. Why give any timescale if there isn't one really
4. Why AR saying this if not his to call?
5. No MC at the dinner
Add this another comment made by him.... Was surprised to inherit a club with lots of things still in 1970s. Says you will see a thoroughly modern club within 1-2 years
Ok.
A/ It don't sound like he's gonna chuck money at us, on the player side.
B/ But it does sound like he's gonna aim to put the club on a sound footing.
C/ and it don't sound like he's expecting anyone to be stopping him from trying to achieve his plans....or give him permission....meaning MC really on his way?
No guarantees. No promises yet. Might or might not include Monk et al.
Time will tell.
I for one will give him the 2 weeks.
After that.....we'll see....
AR said last night......

The fact that 7 of 10 comments on this thread now relate to Walsall/Jonty rather than the point of the article kind of show why the personal stuff needed to stop.

Walsall, hadn't seen that link/info. Cheers.
I must admit the putting the club on sound footing is the Number One issue for me, even if it takes a couple of years.
The last xteen years have felt like quicksand.
And as others have commented elsewhere, such a negative position has made us almost unbuyable by anyone but shysters.
A sound footing might one day attract the right investment.
It has to start there.

Interestingly and positively, this past season shows the highest average attendance since 2004/05.
Good news and augers well for the future!
As others have written on this board, put out a decent team, win games and the fans will return in numbers!
