Run out of steam.

I think it's obvious United have run out of steam, they look tired and Jose adjusting his tactics to play like a Tony Pulis team shows that he is trying to conserve their energy by not making them press the ball. (Something he should have thought about earlier)

We're only one point behind 4th but I say fack the league, Arsenal and Spurs to play next and if Jose is thinking about using the same West Brom counter attack tactics against them as he did with City then forget about it.
Add to that, top 4 is out of our hands again, we will be relying on Liverpool and City to lose more points.

Celta Vigo will be a tough game and United always have trouble playing Spanish teams but win that (edit and we get the chance to win a trophy, Champions League footy and a chance to play the one off Super Cup game.

I think it's obvious what should be the priority here.

Spending money means you won't get injuries.

No, apparently the more you cost the less you get injured.

We've been dropping points at home all season to teams similar to Swansea, were we tired in October when we drew to Stoke and Burnley too?

The one thing that is frustrating is the injuries, this has been going on since about 2009, 6,7,8 players out at once, something's seriously wrong with in that department, it's not just a recent issue.

It does seem like we're running out of steam looking at some of our recent games.

A lack of proper rotation and injuries could cost us Champions League football because a lot of players seem badly fatigued at the moment, quelle surprise.

...

Completely different games to be honest, no effort shown today at all, where as the other games we were attacking all game, played some great stuff but couldn't finish our dinner.

_______________

Earlier in the season, some fans pointed out that United ran a lot less than our rivals - and it was said this might be Jose's way of ensuring our players were more fresh for the run-in at the end of the season.

Now we are too tired to perform, apparently...

Earlier in the season, when we had no injuries, Jose was praised for fixing our injury problems by not over-training the players.

Now we have an injury crisis...

It makes me laugh that people wanted to give Jose credit for these things when things were going well...but now you are not allowed to criticise because these things are out of a manager's control!!

I think we have improved slightly overall this season but the double standards on this board, compared with the previous three seasons, is hilarious.
