Top 4 might be a goal for you. We've already failed to fulfill our goals in the league this season. I didn't celebrate top 4 in 14/15, I won't start now if we do get there this season.

Of course you won't celebrate as United are a team going from great things to average things so it doesn't look like much to a fan used to premier league titles in an era that seems to be at an end.

Top 4 is a good season for you, an average one for us.

We've had a tough time the last few years but we've achieved as much in the last year than Liverpool have in 10 years.

Man Utd's fan base have been spoilt by success and so feel a sense of entitlement. Thus you get condescending comments about X being fine for you but not good enough for Utd.

In fairness, we were probably exactly the same in the mid-90's. Its a byproduct of a successful era unfortunately.
