How many times are we going to see this headline between now and the end of the season?
FFS spurs players talk a lot don't they, Kane in particular ( who can barely talk himself ) seems to blow his load every-time spurs win.,
Nah in all seriousness, i know its the media drumming up excitement for a title race, those losses to Palace and Brand Utd really put the cat amongst the pigeons and allowed Spurs back in, to which they have never let up and continue to pile pressure on us.
The pressure pendulum keeps swinging either way every week, Sky have rigged it so that each week there is a gap between when spurs and Chelsea play, amping up the tension.
what has come out of this season though is so important for English football and football as a whole.
We were force fed the whole "pep vs jose" billing setting up the "english El Classico" but the reality is, Jose just isnt jose any more and pep was always going to struggle with not managing the most dominant teams in the league.
Conte and Poch on the other hand, have proved coaching is still the best way to be successful, training players to play to the absolute top of their potential.
Chelsea have benefit from big spending in the past, but i think those days are gone, EVERYONE can now spend big, the "elite" or "marketable" players are becoming out of reach to most clubs and will continue to be left to the likes of United who are more concerned about new emoji's for their players than results on the pitch.
results will come down to who has the best coach and can make a system work for his team and i for one am all for that

I guess he'd have to ask himself - will he improve as a player at Palace next year or at Spurs

It is all mind games they were doing it to Leicester last season as well. Tbh, I wouldn't like it if our players were gobbing off if they were the chasing the leader. I'd much prefer them do the talking on the pitch instead.
Spurs have a tough game against West Ham, if my memory serves right, Spurs seem to always struggle against them. Harry and Vertonghen are taking as if they have the points in the bag, taking this game for granted.
Nothing wrong with believing in yourself, but please show your opponent a bit of respect, especially West Ham, you certainly don't need to give them extra motivation to make it a cup final.

Spurs' stadium rebuild may have come at the wrong time, if they have to be as stringent as Arsenal were with their spending.

We've always been stringent with our spending.

Even more so then if you are funding a stadium.

I may be wrong, but I think it is mostly funded. Hence why a club of our size has net spent so stupidly little of late.

Levy has previously stated that the stadium is funded separately and from outwith the club.
