More work at Anfield

Looks as though there is going to be further development at Anfield in the near future, Fenway sports group want to extend Anfield to over 60,000 capacity, after the success of the new stand this season, and with European football next season creating more home games, it looks as though they want to proceed with expanding the stadium.

This news is from the Telegraph, and whilst most newspapers report nonsense, the Telegraph is usually in the ballpark with their news, good times ahead ? What do you all think ?

This just shows that the people slating FSG really don't hae a clue. They've done so much for the club, bringing us into the modern era commercially and finally redeveloping Anfield.

I hope they are here for the long run.

What I don't like was when we built the new stand FSG came out and said we don't have the funds for developing the annie road stand.

We will sell all the season tickets. We sold out every game this season so if they are here for the long run why don't they put their hands in their own pockets for once. They will get it back in the long run but hey lets just use our TV money and sell our best players to get a transfer budget

We only sell our best players when they don't want to play for us anymore, namely Suarez being the most recent example. You can't level that as a criticism towards FSG.

Wish that we could stay at stamford bridge where, despite some oppo fans jibes at the atmosphere, it can be cracking, especially midweek games.

Sadly we cannot, but Anfield would be even tougher to go with 60,000 people there.

FSG are a safe pair of hands after H&G. They are not the owners we need to get back into the big league IMO.
