For View - Lies, damn lies & statistics

Just so View can sleep at night (at least until next season), I have done a "bit of maffs" for him!

Based on IGNORING the first nine games of the season, the table would now be, (figures in parentheses = points dropped in first nine games):

Newcastle 78 (11)
Brighton 76 (10)
Reading 68 (10)
Fulham 67 (14)
Sheff Wed 67 (13)
Huddersfield 62 (8)
Leeds 62 (14)
Derby 61 (21)
Norwich 50 (7)

Trying to be a bit more cleverer sir, I have worked-out the average points per game (based on actual final table), then added this average (x9) to the above points, this gives the following "final" table:

Newcastle 96.4
Brighton 94.2
Reading 84.6
Sheff Wed 82.9
Fulham 82.7
Huddersfield 77.9
Leeds 76.7
Derby 74.1
Norwich 63.7

Conclusion, it makes f*ck-all difference, we were still shiite.

Hey, thanks for this Scouse, I didn't actually think someone would do the math ๐Ÿ˜ณ
Sorry for the tardy reply. I suppose I was grasping at straws after Rotherham yesterday to reassure myself that we aren't totally crap.

It didn't work

We were and are crap.

On the bright side the premier league would disappear up its own ring piece if that were to happen as they would be able to have all those foreign players and therefore the global interest would diminish. More room for English talent and an chance for a better National side for all four home Nations.
My god I've found an upside to Brexit

Of course, if things progressed in a certain way, we may even lose our Scottish players !

If this drought continues, and nick the sturge cuts off the water supply to force independence vote, sprinkler ban enforced and all pitches turn to dust and all football clubs disbanded and all males forced into compulsory Saturday shopping.๐Ÿ™„Just sayin.

Thank god we didn't get promoted. Gone would be the oportunity of telling Ched Evans what we think of him. Next season is hotting up.

It the summer league still full of ringers like it was back in the 1970's?

There weren't many shouts of encouragement from the touchline when the league secretary was about in case they said someone's real name.
