Hey guys,
Loads of you spoke recently about Tottenham bottling it by only winning 27 points out of a possible 30 in consecutive fixtures.
Just wondering if today's draw at home with Southampton and a missed penalty is more or less of a bottle than winning nine out of ten games?
Serious posters required, especially GB.
Thanks.
Definition of a bottle?

Plus, best fans in the world.
No doubt you will challenge next season and finish above the bottlers Spurs.
Yep. No doubt at all.

No, it's just I'm questioning how people define bottling it.
I think what I'm hearing is that Liverpool have failed so many times that it shouldn't be considered a "bottle".
Tottenham won 27 points out of 30 and yet it's is a "bottle".
I'm not completely sure on the logic of this but you guys would know better than me.
How many days now until the articles about how many points you will comfortably finish ahead of Spurs next season? What you say Neo, 2 weeks or so?
I think we've been doing this for the last 8 years or so but if you guys want to go through the motions again that's all good with meBig club Liverpool

You won 9 in a row with no pressure, the game you needed to win on Friday you lost with a whimper.
It's no surprise that when the pressure counts the spurs players wilted and you lost to a poor West ham team.
Liverpool are no better, we are both perennial bottlers at the moment.

Yep no pressure at all.
Needing to win every one of those 9 to stay with Chelsea - no pressure. Yep, they were like friendlies.
North London derby - no pressure.
Losing on 89 minutes to Swansea but still winning - no pressure.
Must say, GB by far the most deluded poster here.
You must be the dumbest by far. I mean by far. I think that's the dumbest comment in 606 history. Spurs ONLY faced pressure in the one they lost.

No real pressure you were miles from Chelsea and then they started dropping points, then once you finally have a chance to go within a point and make it a real title race you blow it.
4 points behind isn't really pressure as you don't really have much of a chance, closing the gap to 1 point really would have made a huge difference as Chelsea then have absolutely no breathing room.
Alas you choked and now they only need 6 points from 4 games.

Chelsea bottled it by not putting the title race to bed early on. They were 13 points ahead at one stage and it's been reduced to 4 points. If they had beaten Palace at home the title would be over.

Genuine question to the people staying 27/30 points isn't bottling it, do you think 37/42 points is? Because if you don't then you can never say we bottled it in 13/14.

Neither team got the points when it really mattered.
Bottlers. I'll admit that as a Liverpool fan.
