Has anyone got an update on these two? I strongly suspect Jordan won't play for us again this season, does anyone know what his injury/ies is/are?
The last I heard on Ings was from Klopp's pre-match saying he's up to kicking a ball now, nothing further.
Anyone in the know?

Very unlikely Ings will have much of an career at highest level now. One ACL is bad enough but to have two is career threatening. The rehabilitation will probably go all the way to Xmas this year and that's if he doesn't get any after effects.
It's a shame on the lad because he probably does have Klopp DNA but you only need to look at Jay Rodriguez and Callum Wilson who just can't reach the level they were pre injury.

Sadly I think you might be right. Apparently it's a tough injury to come back from and off the top of my head I can't think of anyone who's suffered two!
Hope I'm wrong because his career was just getting going.

I have no idea who the new captain would be. I would hope Milner wouldn't be first choice next season, so where would you be looking? Matip?

Probably Van Dijk

Possibly a new signing depending on who we get, admittedly there isn't a great deal of choice in the current side.
Can has potential but I wouldn't want to give him it yet.

The club are very quiet over Hendo which does not bode well.
I don't think Milner is captain material anyway and Matip is too quiet and laid back for me. We are probably looking at Lovren Can or maybe left field but Coutinho.

ings comments by klopp were no rush.. i would presume the guy is wirtten off for this season and perhaps klopps moved on as well
Henderson yeah he's toast.

I disagree, Kash, Milner, for me, would be an ideal choice as skipper. He's got a wise and experienced head on his shoulders.
I disagree with the negative comments on Danny Ings. Maybe it's naive thinking on my behalf, but he's young, and he's determined.
Jordan? The silence from the club is deafening.

Good point LAMCAM. Imagine what this season could have been were it not for our problems in front of goal. Could've won the world cup or sommat

It's noted in the Gruaniad today that Henderson may yet play this season. Reading the items, however, it seems that if he is deemed fit to play, that may result in him being called up for the Scotland v. England game, and that wouldn't be good.
We've suffered too much loss with our players going off to play for their respective countries and coming back crocked.
Didn't they play young Jordan Rossiter into the deck? I don't think he's been fully fit since, even though he is now a Glasgow Rangers player.
