Having watched the U23 game last night against a very good Everton team, I was mightily impressed by the team in general, and also Wilson Ono and Ejaria in particular. While the latter two have promise of of exciting futures in front of them, you can see why Harry is training with the first team at Melwood.
He really is an outstanding player, he's done his time out with Crewe, and in my view ready next season as a definite squad member at least.
While no doubt Jurgen will be splashing the cash, presumed big time, he's got a ready made player able to step up to the plate.
One player was surprisingly average, and for me, for the first time: Ben Woodburn. Maybe there's the danger of expecting too much too soon.

Has been played further forwards at times though. He could well make it with us.

Doubt he'd be a good keeper tbf

Good to see Gomez get more minutes too. Think he may need a loan next season though if we're supposedly buying all the CBs we've been linked to in the rags.

TAA's goal was out of this world, especially for a RB. Our young Polish goalie, brilliant. I can't see Gomez going out on loan; he's been given a lot of time to recover, recouperate, he would imagine he will be in the squad.

TAA has a big future at the club imo.
Another reason reason not to sign Townsend as a RB Jimmy 😉

Yes, point taken P. I don't know if you saw his goal on Monday but, what a spank he gave it, the goalie had no chance.
