Well today's the day we probably find out if well be playing champions league football next season or not. Obviously it's not completely over after today but you'd have to assume with reasonable confidence that Arsenal will beat one of the worst sides to grace the league at home in Sunderland, and then beat an Everton side with nothing really to play for who will hardly be in the mood to do us any favours. And you'd assume we'll beat a terrible Boro side at home too.
Which brings us to today. We have to beat west ham. Failure to do so would practically hand Arsenal that 4th spot. If we do win though then all we need do is win our final game of the season at home against an already relegated side.
So which Liverpool side will turn up? The one who when playing away from home lately has been grinding out 1-0 wins at tricky grounds? Or will it be a highly motivated one that comes out and blows west ham off the park in a swashbuckling 4-0 win? Or will it be one we've seen too many times this season and last that, when the pressure is put on us (Bournemouth away, Swansea home etc) crumbles under that pressure?
No excuses left. The task is simple, win our last two games of the season and we will be playing champions league football next season with a much better chance at recruiting better quality players to help us challenge. Don't and, whilst it's a word that gets thrown around way too much at the minute, it really would be bottling it.

I have such little faith in our players to perform when it counts, been let down far too many times by this crop of players who always wilt under pressure.
Maybe they will finally prove me wrong but I look forward to Europa League next season! Hell I may actually be able to get tickets for matches for once!!

I think Lallana is rated well, he's pretty highly thought of by most people based on this season.
I still think he's the best technical English player I've ever seen.

Great victory, the boys turned up big time today.
