Been reading the updates from the trial regularly
Gary Withey, Whyte's lawyer when he bought the club, has been giving evidence this week
On the BBC site today:
"Giving evidence to Mr Whyte's fraud trial at the High Court in Glasgow, Gary Withey said he thought the businessman was "mad" to be trying to take over the football club.
"The lawyer also said he thought Mr Whyte did not know what he was getting himself into."
"Mr Withey told the court he had repeatedly told Mr Whyte not to proceed with the deal to buy Rangers football club because he claimed: "I didn't like the feel of the transaction."
"He said he was not sure that Mr Whyte knew what he was letting himself get into. But he said Mr Whyte would laugh in response to this."
"The lawyer also said he had been instructed by Mr Whyte not to reveal to the Rangers owners, the Murray group, that the deal was being funded by the company Ticketus, using Rangers season tickets, because that would prompt Sir David Murray to walk away."
Its blatantly obvious from this evidence that Whyte was lying through his teeth to Murray and Rangers about the Ticketus deal funding the purchase!
Cant help but feel that the slimey bassa will still get away with it tho!

Why the fack would I , Pedro has been in the job for 9 league matches and has lost one to a team who haven't lost a domestic tie all season , I don't see how anyone should be embarrassed

He cost his companies indemnity insurers £25m. Of course their premiums will have shot up but they didn't pay it."
I think the point Laudrup was making was more about competance rather than pedantics of who paid it.
Same as a car crash , the driver doesn't pay but it's his fault
