As a Utd fan, I'd happily swap Shaw for Robertson. Shaw I think has the edge defensively but as an outlet, Robertson is as fast, and crucially can beat players and deliver a good cross. Seems a more intelligent player.

8m is an utter snip.

I would take Shaw over all three myself.

Poch has had him under his wing once and he absolutely flourished - I would be confident in Poch getting him somewhere near Rose's level

Trouble is, for a modern fb he's quite limited going forward, poor end product and can beat a man unless running into a ball. Robertson has that, plus can actually beat a man and has a decent cross on him. Shaw is probably the pick of the bunch defensively, but there's not much in it.

Shaw had no problem with all those things at Saints.

I think he is low on confidence myself, and needs to get away from Mourinho to a coach who will nurture his talent

He was never good going forward even at saints in a system the suited him to a T. He just doesn't have it in his ability.

Big names linked, none come through the door.

Crap names linked, all come in and more.

RKW Matip, Mane, Firmino were not big names.

I'd trust Klopp for sure on players that fit his system.
