I'm honestly not to fussed if Kyle Walker goes. Of course I want to keep all our players together, but if anyone asked me which of the main guys would you choose to leave, I would of picked Kyle Walker any day of the week. Never have been a huge fan and although I can admit he's had a good season, he still petrifies me in defence because there's always a mistake in his locker.
He still can't cross a ball and Trippiers delivery is 10x better. He's a better right back than Trippier all round, but if he don't want to continue this fantastic revolution under poch then f** him!!! We have proven even without him and the brilliant Rose, that we can win games.
Our win record is incredible considering Rose has been out for so long and Walker has not been playing as much recently. These were supposedly our main heartbeat of all our attacks but we have proven even with our sub full backs, we are spanking teams left, right and centre. I won't be happy if we sell anyone else like Dier etc but Kyle Walker I'm honestly not bothered about. 40 + million would be daylight robbery if we managed to get it and you know Levy will. We will be even stronger next season with or without Walker.

I really hope Kyle stays, he is a fantastic player but if he has fallen out with Poch or had his head turned then there's nothing we can do apart from getting as much for him as we can. (That's a given considering who our chairman is).
Ive been really impressed with Trippier and I don't think we will be massively weakened if he is our regular RB/RWB next season.
Attacking wise I believe Trippier edges Walker, He is more intelligent, is technically better and has far better end product. Of course he lacks the pace and athleticism that Walker gives us down the line but too often for me Kyle flatters to deceive.
Defensively its no contest. Walker wins hands down, he never gets beaten for pace and is strong as an ox. Trippier lacks pace and is lightweight and gets cruelly exposed if caught in a one on one situation agsints elite attackers like Sane / Martial etc.
In most of the games Trippier will be ok at RB but against the best teams then we will have to push him forward to RWB.
Just to mention that in KWP we have an excellent young player who is very highly thought of at the club. Poch believes in his young players and develops them and might be ready to be understudy. Poch has already alluded to him being a lot more involved next season.

But it is worrying that if he has lost focus, then he did it at the height of a title run. If this is the case how will he be focussed in a tricky away game mid November on a cold wet night.

There is a reason why all the big clubs would take Walker but not too many enquiring about Trippier.

I saw Martial at absolute full speed go past him not once did I see him walk past
I'm not Trippiers biggest fan but walker wants out then he can go
Oh btw I also saw Sane and Sterling tear Walker a new one too so he's not this absolute rock of a defender.

Difference there being it was a game we were throughly 2nd best in, and nobody covered themselves in glory.
Trippier is a decent 2nd choice, but would 100% be our weakest link over a season for me.

Agree hence why I've always said we need another RB but walker going won't be end of the world. Especially how he's played the last 3 months.

The main problem I have with it is it will probably take the best part of a season to get a promising RB fully integrated.
If Walker went - and there was even a sniff of it happening which I doubt very much - I would love Dani Alves for a year or two. Still a class act, even if wheeled out for just special occasions in busy periods

Daniel Alves is a better right back than Walker even at his age now. He would be realistic given his age and his wages are not huge at Juve either. Would be a fantastic short term option to cover Walker going.

Agree he is better currently but is only gettign older and Spurs would face huge competition for his signature.
At the end of the day you don't get better by selling your bestter players, someting Liverpool and Spurs knwo all about and really you have a rigth back, coming into his prime years, you may get a short term fix liek Alvez, who may not even work out, but overall you are not gettig a better player in to replace walker.
