Monk clear favourite for Middlesbrough job Apparently Leeds have rejected an approach from Norwich. All speculation of course, but favourite for Boro job is pretty scary stuff.
Do the right thing Rad and sign him up tomorrow!

Sir Giggsy will get the Boro job.

Why would he ever trade in living in Leeds for living in Middlesborough

Lubo, an extended contract, good money, parachute payments.
Non fans look at it differently.

If Leeds don't back him and show ambition, Boro will. Would be a a likely promotion for his CV. I'd be very surprised if Giggs got it. Huge gamble for who Imo will be league favourites.

He lives in Harrogate and could travel quite easily from there. 40 min drive!

Monk's contract should have been sorted out months ago by his employers- 'The Club'. AR and MC, as joint owners, should have reached some form of consensus on this and sorted it. Monk is now in Limbo, unless he's already had assurances about a new deal, which I doubt.
Sorry, but I've yet to see anything from AR at this stage that fills me with confidence for next season. I hope he doesn't prove to be yet another AR sehole of an owner.

We never see anything until its moved on, it seems to be the Leeds way!..
If AR is good he'll stay, if not than its another loss for this club!..

If nothing else, in a strange way it does is no harm, in as much that it indicates to AR that two teams recently relegated and with money to spend see Monk as their way back to the top flight.
This AR should have no illusions about he fact that Monk's stock is coveted by others and therefore this can surely only give him greater confidence to make that contract offer to Garry so that we can prepare for next season.
