A goal every 87 minutes.....

for Harry Kane this season.

Next best is Sturridge Nah! Just kidding of course. It's Aguero with one every 120 minutes. (Giroud at 100m doesn't really count as he scored just 12).

BTW, congrats to Agureo, who joins the elite list of Shearer, Henry , RVN & Kane to have scored 20 goals in 3 consecutive EPL seasons

Special mention to.....

Anthony Martial
Daniel Sturridge
Divock Origi
Michy Batshuayi
Lucas Perez (I know, WHO??? yeah he plays for Arsenal)
Danny Wellbeck

Harry Kane managed to score as many, if not more, goals in the last 4 days as this lot managed in a season.

Why do so many spurs fans keep saying he doesn't get the credit he deserves?

I've not seen anybody on here or heard anybody in 'real life' saying he's not very good?

He's been getting plaudits for months, and rightly so. How much more credit, and from who, should he get?

A couple of scousers on here yesterday were saying he isn't even as good as Lukaku. Then there's plenty who like to remind you how bad he was for England, like that's a more important platform compared with the PL.

Won't be long until he fancies winning a trophy and getting paid parity with the top strikers in the league then.

Sure he'd like a trophy and a payrise now tbh. Probably goes for every single player that's ever lived though.

Same reason they made the same point on Match of the Day yesterday. Even after his second great season a lot of people were questioning whether or not it was a bit of a fluke.

People probably right to be sceptical with the way English players have been overrated at a young age - Wilshere etc.

He'll give it one more year I would have thought. Ridiculous strike rate though.

Yea you are posting something like this twenty times a day on various threads. I'd be careful with it though. No one can possibly argue Liverpool still win trophies and their wage structure can't compete with United, City and Chelsea.

What is true for Spurs is also true for Liverpool. Difference is that apart from Countinho you don't have any players the richest sides would be interested in.

Indeed, I would question if a single one of Liverpools players would currently get into the Spurs side. Not sure your feeling the future is brighter for the red men is necessarily true .

He has a better league record that CR9 this season. Ronaldo has 'only' 25 goals in 29 games.

It's pretty much only Messi and Cavani (in a rubbish league) that have 20+ goals and a better/similar goal-to-minute ratio than Harry.

Lad.

Well theres suarez aswell 29 + 13 assists, but other than that nobody

Fair enough, I don't really see many Spurs threads so don't know what people have said. I know there wouldn't be many (or any) on the United board that don't rate him.

Many would suggest to sign Lukaku rather than Kane, purely because it's a more realistic signing.

Don't think you'll get many saying he's not really that good anymore though.

I'd rather us persevere with Rashford to be honest than buy Lukaku or Kane, maybe get a proper number 10 to work with him rather than replacing him.

Kane is an example of what can be achieved by sticking with a young player that's shown promise, he's not always looked like he'd be THIS good when he had his loan spells, but look at him now.

I'd be over the moon if Rashford could develop along the same lines.
