Tin Pot clubs, for a Tin Pot league !

every time a club gains promotion from the championship, they are labeled a 'Tin Pot' club, from a Tip Pot league. Well lets have a look at this 'Best. Most competitive league in the World' as they keep telling us.

Chelsea. Clear champions. 93 pts. 7 pts gap to 2nd. That's two wins & a draw buffer.
Spurs. 86pts. then another big gap !
Man City. 8pts behind on a total of 78pts.
You can't call it tight.

Two leagues in One !
Then drop darn to Everton in 7th, The lowest club with a positive goal difference, on 61pts, The bottom of the top clubs. But they were never really in with a crack at Euro comp football next season.

8th. Southampton. a full 15 points behind Everton. or a 5 win deficit
But at least it now gets 'competitive' . Just 6 points separate 8th to 17th.
17th being the last 'safe spot' on the ladder.
Saints 46 pts. darn to Watford on 40pts. a 2 win difference between 8th to safety .

Bournemouth & Burnley in particular have shown it's possible to compete in the Premier league, with limited funds & a relatively smaller fan base than most, The winners of the play-off final on Monday should go into the Prem with confidence...
From One tin pot league to the next.

Next season could be another record breaker for crowds in The Championship. This will be a very competitive league next season.
There won't be a 15 point mid table gap, put it that way, with every team below 7th on negative goal difference.
Not that negative goal difference means you can't make the top 'six'
