Not sure how accurate these latest developments are regarding Monk to go to the smoggies but I for one hope that we can secure Monk on a long term contract
But if Monk was to go elsewhere, who realisticaly, would you want instead?
I cant come up with many names but the only one I can think of that I rate would be Sean Dyche.
Just interested to know who you all rate and would like to get the job if Monk does leave.
If not Monk then who?

In the position we're in, and going on the premise we won't have Monk, I actually like Marco Silva (Hull).
Pearson and Moyes have done well in their time. Maybe?

I liked Moyes when he was at Everton but not too sure now. But would have him over alot of others.
Pearson does have a good record but again not too sure but be better than a McClaren.

If Massimo does step down, he may be wanting a new job

We could appoint many worse managers than Moyes.

The one who worked wonders at Everton on a shoe string and inherited a crap man utd side and well.... Sunderland. He ain't that bad, just a scapegoat

Moyes is a proven manager but for me he is old news and is past his best. Hes a negative manager.
I cannot look beyond Monk but if I had to, I would look for someone similar - A leader who would bring all areas of the club together on and off the pitch in the modern way.
I always liked the lad who got the boot at Watford - Flores? Silva obviously but he will go back to the PL.

If he only makes you shudder, I would suggest you have not thought about it enough!
