Sounds unlikely to me. only way I can see us finding a back up target man is if:

a: We sign someone happy to be a back up or
b: Sign someone who can play winger but also striker (Ie: The way Sun does for Spurs)

Take a pig, glue wings on it, then give the swine a microphone and push it of a tall building.

If it flies whilst reciting a soliloquy about the ills of eating pork, then we shall sign Troy Deeney.
