What so we haven had talks already.

Club is just reactive instead of being proactive.

Only reacting now because he is being linked with other clubs.

Should have been sorted weeks ago.

At the latest it should have been sorted after the final ball of our season was kicked.

Realistically we have known for weeks we defiantly wanted him in charge next season.

Yet not done anything till it looks like we might lose him.

I hate how our club is run

Seems a few are reporting this now. We are exercising the one year option and will discuss an extension after the takeover. Make sense I guess.

I'm wondering what the problem is, we want him, he wants to stay, the club are now according to this exercising their right for another year and talks will be held!..

Suggests Monk will get the talks he's waiting for, and if he's in doubt he can refuse that extra year or not?..

Its not the club or Monk, its the ownership and the 50%, when that's sorted things around the club should be a lot easier, Rads can do a lot but maybe there are one or two things he has to wait on!..

I suppose we should note that at least the club has shown some intent to keep him on.

If AR was intending to get someone else in, I doubt they'd have committed to funding a year's worth of his wages.
