You also report the club for talking about a contracted player

Clubs have been getting transfer bans for this.

Charlie Taylor tried that trick beginning of season, and got told, your going nowhere.

There this myth that players have the power, no they don't.

Will the Pontus panic be the same as the AR takeover panic? As in, a waste of energy on behalf of fans...

Presumably, AR will have put the remainder of the transfer fee in by tomorrow.....

Player power cuts both ways. The club can do a Taylor, but if the player wants to leave you have a principle v practical issue. Do you want an unmotivated potentially disruptive character in your dressing room or would you rather take the money while the property is hot and reuse it.

It's s quote from a magazine article, who knows what the context is, but pontus had a falling out with monk, is clearly an emotional character and we haven't heard any 'love Leeds' type comments coming from him recently... so 'I'll talk to my agent about the future' type comments aren't very reassuring
