Now that our season is done and dusted, it is time to have a quick review of the squad and manager.
DDG - Not been as busy as in recent years but still top drawer. 7
Romero - Has been outstanding in the Europey 7.5
Valencia - Has played really well at RB. 7.5
Darmian - Average, nothing more, offers nothing going forwards. 5
Jones - Played well until he got injured, again. Has to go now, he is no use on the treatment table. 6.5
Rojo - Hard to fault him, imo. Played really well at CB. 7
Blind - Mr reliable. 7
Bailly - Buy of the season for us. 7.5
Shaw - Poor and probably has no future under Jose. 5
Smalling - regressed from last season. 6
Young - Does well when called upon, but probably on his way. 6
Carrick - Still has the class, but not the legs. 6.5
Herrera - Our player of the season for me. If you don't see what he does, quit watching football. 8
Pogba - Hit, miss and average, I will expect so much more next season. 6.5
Fellaini - Should not be a regular starter in our midfield. He has been OK in some games. 6
Mata - Always has that touch of class and won Jose over. 7
Mik - Hit and miss. Starteed off very well when he got in the team but has been very poor recently. I expect much more next season. 6
Martial - Has had a few good games but has been mostly poor. 5.5
Lingard - Scores some vital goals but is also guilty of wastefulness. Not first team standard. 6
Zlatan - Still class, but in a similar way to Berba, slows our play down. 7
Rashford - Not yet ready to lead the line but still gived defenders a tough game with his pace and intelligent running. 6.5
Wazza - Has had little effect in any game what so ever. Time to go. 5
Jose - Knows how to win cups. Needs to improve drastically in the prem. The football has to improve. 6.5

Pretty fair ratings VC. Pogba for me gets 5.5-6, hit and miss, generally good against smaller teams but ineffective against the better teams. Has not lived up to his reputation/price tag. But has done enough to suggest he could be decent for us and an important cog in the team.
Valencia has been out best fb and gets an 8 from me.
Romero I'll give an 8 to, as he's not put a foot wrong in the Europa capmeign and looks assured. Would not be dissapointed if he starts as no1 next season.
Rashford-7 at times great, at other times lacklustre. But he's a talent, and I hope he gets game time to develop.
Greizman- no thanks.

70.8% save percentage 2015/16 vs 71.8% 2016/17 season. 1 more save in a game we drew but scored would have had us top 4 in 2015/16.

Pogba - Mediocre for the most part and for what he cost, a massive disappointment. Expect way more next season. 4.5
Mik - Hit and miss, mostly miss. A few goals have papered over the atrocious performances. 4.5
Martial - Huge fan and whilst I do not agree with the way he has been managed, he's not exactly hit the heights of last season and always looks moody. 4.
Lingard - Lacks consistency and an end product. 5
Zlatan - Was against the signing but without him we would have been 12th 8.5
Rashford - Predictable and has become incredibly selfish recently. Running around like a headless chicken will not develop his game. 6.0
Wazza - Finished 2
Jose - Reputation + money spent, just about salvaged our season yesterday. With his reputation I have been very disappointed. 4.5
Shaw - Just sell

Valencia and Herrera our standout players this season, and Romero in the Ropey, but for me Valencia just edges it.
A few years ago when he was a winger I wanted him sold and replaced with a better winger. As a Right Back he's solid and reliable and ready to run up and down the he pitch all game

Not too much to argue with here.
I'd give Pogba and Darmian a bit more, and Valencia would be my pick of our players this season, but a decent quick summary VCz
