Doesn't really help the claim that they'll be competing with the top European leagues and sign the world's biggest stars - never bought that anyway.

No European club is gonna pay that sort of money for Costa, he's not worth it.
Premier league clubs should invest more money in football infrastructure, you're correct. Difference here is that the premier league clubs aren't running up hige losses each year like in China. And it's self sustained, unlike the Chinese clubs that are bankrolled by billionaires.
