three players of immense talent that can only improve next year.
Martial was pretty poor this year but last year he showed what a huge talent he is. Whether he can make it under Mou I'm not sure but if he's given a chance next year, he can only improve. Can't get much worse than he's been this year really. He's the one I'm least hopeful about at the moment.
Pogba, thought he was a bit meh this season. Had some decent games, had some poor games but the talent is there for all to see. His passing is pretty sublime but he needs to get involved more and take games by the scruff of the neck a bit more.
Mkhi, he's either class or utter toilet, Not much of an in between with him. In the Europa final he was the worst player on the pitch in the first half but then stepped up with a beauty of a finish at the beginning of the 2nd. If he can become more consistent he'll be a big factor in getting our team playing good football and getting better results.
Anyway, the point being is regardless of signings, these are three great talents we already have on our books and didn't play to their full potential this season. If we can get them up there we'll see a massive improvement in the way we play.

I'm not sure why people blame Mourinho for Martial's form. He's given him numerous opportunities often in big games.
The problem with Martial this season is that it's one step forward two steps back. He has a good game and looks to be coming out of him slump and then goes and has a couple of stinkers.

And yet for all his indifferent form Martial has probably given one of the better individual displays for us this season against Boro at OT..
He was terrific that game.

Hopefully Jose will work on Martial over the coming months to try and convince him that he can become a top player if he really wants it.
In addition Martial will have a free summer in terms of no tournament so he can sort off pitch matters and have a break from the game. He's still only young and if he can come back firing next season we'd be in good shape IMO.

When has he done this? After the Boro game is the only time I can remember and that was in the busy Xmas period.
