So apparently the lad has made enough appearances for Hertha Berlin this season to qualify for a work permit. All being well he will be available for selection for the new season.
Klopp has made it no secret that he rates the lad highly, so the question is if these reports are true, could we possibly see him start a few games for us next season? Has anyone seen him play?

He plays in a position we have many players in. He will be behind Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Milner if we sign a left back and even Coutinho if we persist with him deeper. We also have Grujic who I'm guessing may be ahead of him.
I'm sure if he isn't loaned out, he may play some cup games but I don't expect he'll get much of a look in. Best case scenario would be to loan him to an English team.

Only got a handful of sub appearances for Hoffenheim, doesn't seem like they want him back either. Be surprised if he makes an appearance for us.

info was that if hertha made europa groups he was back there on loan 100%
we will see.
I just don't see him getting a work permit yet.
