A. Lacazette

With Atletico's ban being upheld by the Spanish FA and them previously being the front runners for Lacazette, I feel like we should take a good hard look at Lacazette to be our out and out striker. I really believe that with the attacking players we have here, he'd be a great fit here.

Pros: Proven record in Ligue 1, pacy, hardworking, ability to stretch the defense, versatile (can play across the front), great finisher, catalyst in Lyon's attack, and Atletico wants him.

Cons: Plays in Ligue 1, semi-injury prone, lack of height (Jose is a height supremacist), may stunt Rashford's development

Haven't watched him too often this year but whenever I got a chance to see him play, he reminds me of Kun Aguero. Not as strong as Kun, but similar in playing style. Will add to this later once I get on my computer.

why don't you just buy Real Madrid lock stock and barrel
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe we will.

Why don't Liverpool just buy Southampton?

great idea

Kane, lukako or Bale
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane: won't leave
Lukaku*: overrated and lazy
Bale: Ibra and Rojo don't need another friend in the treatment room. And Bale won't leave.

Article title: Player name who we’ve been linked with

Article text: Why we should get him because we’re linked with him.

Isn't that how it should be done?

Better fit for you than Greizmann

Agreed. With the Griezmann money, we can get Lacazette, either Sanchez or Ozil, and Keane for roughly the same price. At this point, it'll solve our depth problems.

No one reminds me of Kun Aguero.

Is anyone still doubting this guys ability to perform at the top level?

He's taken his game up another notch this season, his already great link up play has been improved, and he already cool and clinical finishing has been better than ever, even better than his 14/15 season with Fekir.

His two goals against Montpellier has taking him to 35 goals this season, which equates to his best ever goalscoring season, while getting into the Team
of the Year in France once more.

I think he would improve any team in the Premier League. Yes I get that Ligue 1 is 'weaker' compared to the Premier League but again a good portion of the Premier Leagues best imports have come from Ligue 1.

I think he would be perfect with Rashford and Martial, he is just coming into his prime and is exactly what we need up front.

Last four seasons:
182 games
111 goals

Brilliant record.

I'm not. A lot of people will use that as a knock against him though. My other knock on Lacazette regarding Rashford stunt in growth is unfounded too. I actually think Lacazette is injury prone enough to give Rashford enough minutes at the top.

I think £35m should be enough to get Laca, which is far more sensible than paying what, like £70m, for Lukaku who Jose once sold even though he was touted to be Drogba's replacement? Plus getting him stops Liverpool and Arsenal from strengthening their squads

He's coming off his best scoring season ever, 37 goals in 45 games. And he just turned 26. Perfect age. I personally haven't seen enough of him to make an informed opinion on him but his stats and age are positives.
