After firing blanks this season for Bournemouth, do you think Wilshere may leave the club in the summer?
Word is they are yet to open talks on a new deal with him. With Cazorla out for another 5 months you'd think Arsene may want to keep hold off him.
Jack off?

We've chewed our way through a ton of midfield combinations this season, and it could be argued that no one's fully convinced which one's best.
I say we throw Jack into the mixer too, and see what comes out. He should be extra motivated during a World cup year.

I suspect AFC will renew (assuming JW agrees) contract whether he's in AW's long term plans or not.

I love Jack but I'm not sure we can continue to give him new contracts on the basis that he might A. reach his potential and B stay injury free

Wilshere is not good enough for Arsenal. He's pretty much not progressed at all since he was 19. Still provides very little cutting edge in the final 3rd, and his decision-making in CM is immature for a 25 year-old. We now have Xhaka to fill his role as the left-footed cultured player in midfield, a better player and incidentally younger as well. We have a tendency to look at Wilshere as still a youngster who's on the verge of making his big break but he's passed that point already. Sell him to a PL club willing to pay £20m+ for him.

Get rid. Add a buy-back clause in case he somehow sorts out his fitness and reaches his potential.

Injuries have certainly impacted on Wilshere's growth as a footballer. Think he is not as fast anymore either. I suppose its difficult to keep fit and regain pace with pinned ankles. Wouldn't be too much of a loss if he went. Could have done with him last season when Santi got injured. But his lack of progress at Bournemouth because again he was in and out of the team kind of reflects poorly on him.

Probably best to sell him. However if we don't buy any midfielders and cazorla is still injured, he could be worth having around for one more year . Especially considering Ramsey often picks up injuries

Santi's career is over. He's and if its another 5 months until he's back as someone said above he will be a month away from being 33. Then factor in that at Arsenal it normally drags out a lot longer until they are back, the time it will take for him to get match fit and sharp again, and if he is managed properly he will need to be eased back into playing. So he will be about 34 by the time I expect him to be able to hit top form again. May as well replace him now and only expect him to be a squad player at best.

Did he do anything of note at Bournemouth? If not then why would anyone want him in a team with aims of CL?
