Have to say, I'm really impressed with Pedro. Whether the personnel who come in adapt to our game and help us challenge or not, we has clearly identified our problem from last year and addressed it ASAP.
Last years team was spineless. At centre-back, centre-mid and centre-forward we were found lacking with all of our best stuff coming from out wide from our best players/biggest threats in Wallace, Tav, Mckay and... well,no-one else frankly! (Miller!?)
The transfer window has not opened yet and you just need to look at his signings/major targets to see he knows where we have been weak:

It's all about the spine! Even Dalcio's been playing at no.8Frankly, well done. Doing well to get his business done quickly too!
Add to that (prospective spine) the strengths of our current team: Fods, Wallace, Tav (in a team with a centre back/DM team that are more effective than a wet paper bag when left exposed), Miller and (hopefully) Mckay (think he'd do a LOT better in a team which can actually retain possession as teams with strong spines do!),plus one or two more flair players (like the wingers being touted) and I reckon this could be a team able to hold their own.
Or at least... I hope.
