Walker

Sky Sports reporting that City are about to make a move for Walker, must be something in it and it's not unexpected.

Will be disappointed when he goes, became a brilliant player for us and been with us for a very long time, but Poch don't put up with any aggro from players.

Hopefully we replace him well or just promote Walker-Peters to back up as Trippier performed very well in his appearances towards the end of the season.

We will be ok and most likely mug City off for Walker.

Walker will be missed no doubt. It's just very frustrating seeing City getting all their deals in early, which includes weakening our 1st team at the same time. I really do hope we milk this transfer, Anyone from our 1st team should not be sold for less than 30m, add on the fact that he's English and in his prime, 40m would be the bare minimum.

Apparently we value him at close to £50m. He signed a new 5 year contact 9 months ago, we are under no pressure to sell and Walker himself has said he won't force a move. We hold all the cards here, if they want him they'll have to pay through the hooter for him.

i suspect they will, they'll likely want atleast 1 english player who has a chance at actually gametime

I agree, keeping those core players is more important, losing a rb shouldnt cause too much damage

He won't be happy say there on peanuts compared to other players and with the studium being built you need the money.

Keep an unhappy player not the best thing to do.

50m for Walker when there is an already made replacement in Trippier and Walker-Peters who probably deserves some more game time after his successful summer is a great deal.

I would imagine Tottenham don't have a big budget this summer so a deal like this makes sense as they can spend the money on a decent back up striker.

Walker is a good player, never a world class one but he's English and would seemingly fit into a Pep System.

If this happens along with the Bertrand one then we would have a good core of English players to satisfy rules.

As was said on another thread a part ex with Iheanacho would suit both parties, £25m plus Kelechi would sound about right.
