Arsenal have once again managed to get a home game for the season opener
That's 19 times out of a possible 26
Friends in high places it seems.

I care. It's clearly easier to play Arsenal day 1 for example. It's never a bad thing to get off to a good start either so Utd's fixtures are irksome thd past couple of years. Then you have where you play after European games. Stuff like that.
Saying you play everyone twice is just pure ignorance.

You never know how it's going to pan out.
Didn't City and United have the best starts out of the lot last season, with both turning out to have a car crash of a league season?

Yeah, you can never predict when a "smaller" club will have a run of form, or when another will have an injury crisis.

Arsenal at home opening day s generally funny when they don't win and the fans have an absolute melt down
Remember villa beat them they did get Ozil a few days later to shut the fan base up.

Why is there such a bloody outrage over the fixtures? Everyone plays the same teams home and away, and everyone at one stage or another has an "easy" run of games and a hard run. Who cares?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No really true. You have to take into account cup games and CL/Europa games.
for examples, Arsenal will play 5 away games out of 6 straight after their Europa League group stage game and that makes a hell of difference.
And it is not like those fixtures are kind. It's Chelsea, Everton, City, Burnley and Saints.
------
Its makes a big difference if it was the other way and that's playing away in Europe between two tough league games which not the case here. Fixtures have always been kind to Arsenal. Even Mourinho complained. Most cup ties were at home. Always 1st and last league games at home. Nice Xmas fixtures.

Wtf are you talking about? 5 away games after Europa - when 2/3 EL games will be away.
"Even Mourinho complained" - is this really an argument for your case
Nice Xmas fixtures? Chelsea and Liverpool??
Always home first and last games? Factually untrue.

far be it for me to stick up for the g00ns but I believe it comes down to spurs requesting away games to open with...therefore arsenal have to be at home.

What has that got to do with Spurs asking to start with an away game?
