FFS another frustrating summer supporting Chelsea it seems
Its quite clear that we are either being very slow in making our moves in the transfer market OR we don't plan to make significant moves ( which was my thoughts ) I am not sure we have the money to compete at the top level and i'm not convinced of out scouting system to identify the required player to improve the squad that isn't overpriced
City and united, with the limitless money have gone straight out and improved the squad with minimal fuss.......so why havnt we ?
If I was Conte and had to go through that Maria bird and Whatever Emelano is just to get a signing approved then id want out too

Just a feeling but I think we are going to see a total shock transfer made by CFC, we know the players we have been heavily linked with and I am sure we will get one maybe 2 of those but I just get this feeling come July they will unveil a player that nobody expected much like the Kante move but I think the shock value will be way above that

As MTC has said some papers are saying 300mil to be spent. But I think that may not be so far off the mark.
I do think this transfer window you may see the biggest transfer splurge you have ever seen at CFC.
And I think it will be players of a young age, that will see us through for a few years. When the new ground improvement starts, I am sure money will be a little tighter, hence why I think this window and possibly next years window there will be major transfers made and major money spent, and then everything is tightened up after that.

Well I'm glad most of you took the story for what it is, garbage. Been following it since I started work at 5 am. Boy did it snowball quickly from a rumour to a foregone conclusion and that was just talksport
It must be their 4th attempt to try this one on, I agree entirely with Whitewall. It won't be the last time and they will use this and the other reasons to justify the next. When he does leave they will say I told you do, even if he stays for ten years.
I know they have to sell papers to justify their existence but like the boy who cried wolf they will find eventually no one cares to listen anymore. Just look at asked of papers today concerned with 40 years ago.
I say 50 years as I'm off the roundhouse to watch the Skids and the Vapours tonight, at least they still apeal to me.

Nah mate, once in a blue moon. How many of these transfer rumours happen? Not many and that's just our club, multiply that across all the other clubs and they are really poor. Of course they all claim to have scooped of when one happens despite the fact they did no more than we have in reading or hearing it from one other source.
One of the reasons you can't do anything about it, they just say "weren't me mate"
