Anyone hoping for Ronaldo?

Whilst acknowledging he’d improve our football team; I know after every match I’d need to bathe in Dettol.

There are players that for whatever reason you just cannot like. He’s mine.

Oddly enough, nothing to do with the United connections. My disliking for him didn’t start until he was well in to his Madrid career.

I'd only want him to stop him improving one of our rivals, but i'd rather if he does indeed leave Madrid, feck off to China.

Ronaldo is just a Portuguese Zaha. Nothing special here.

Tax avoidance isn't even illegal anyway. Unethical maybe but not illegal. Tax evasion would be of more concern

Crazy as this transfer market is I actually think Madrid and Ronaldo will price themselves out of it.
Plus I'm still expecting the inevitable conclusion that Ronaldo will continue his career at Real Madrid when the TW closes.

160m fee and 500k a week is too much even for us. It's not even a goer this. Same old nonsense. Ronaldo has kicked his last ball for us.

This will all end in a new contract for him as he's too expensive for even PSG and Utd. Nobody is going to pay Madrid the money it would take to get him when he's 32 despite him still being incredible.

Supa,

please follow up your highly opinionated view, when you have a minute.

This what I understand
The shirt sales are under contact depending on the deal.

Each shirt sale has varying interested parties.

Certain players will receive a % on sales , some will have it built into there wage.

The club profit all the way, as well as the players.

Very good article.

But I still would wager a player of Ronaldo's stature will create a steady revenue over his contract.

From shirt sales and endorsements that both club and player would profit from.

But I can agree based on the article that the sales will not pay the transfer fee or totally cover the wage bill.
