Same tin pot cups that I believe one of them was the last trophy spurs won, no? the only trophy of 20 plus years.

Again, lets have a recap.

1. Spurs are a considerably better side than United.

2. Smalling is not deemed good enough for United

3. Smalling has none of the qualities we look for in a defender.

4. Spurs have had the best defence each of the last 2 years.


In summary...

He is barely good enough for United's swuad, ergo he is nowhere near good enough for Spurs'

Our defence over the last couple of seasons hasn't been that much different than yours. I'd say we also have a good defence but it has been our attacking prowess which has let us down so often.

In regards to smalling he was good under LVG but has since regressed a lot since Mourinho came in. Even on form sick note Jones is still performs better than Smalling does and he has an even worse injury record than Smalling does.

Obviously you haven't watched us often enough for you to come up with this idiotic statement

As I had said previously, it has actually been our inefficiency in front of goal that has so often let us down. We have been more adventurous in the attacking sense but we've lacked that killer touch that we so need. Other than Zlatan who often bailed us out of trouble he too halted our play at times. You see we have trying to be more active in the attacking players department by trying to bring in new players. And also spread out the goals around more. Whilst at times we have been negative in our play, it hasn't been as often as you might like to think.

Now if we had been more effective in attack, then we'd be there or there about a near you or above you. But all the while still winning silverware

You score very little though.

Jose's teams have always been safety first. This one is no different.

We on the the other hand are pretty fluid. We pile players forward at every opportunity, all three of our defenders in the 3412 easily do a job at fullback, and are good enough and mobile enough to play in midfield.

It takes a certain type of defender to play that way, and still be tight at the back. Smalling is not it

So the anti-football in various games is a figment of other fans imagination is it? 30-odd per cent possession with the likes of Rashford and Mkhitarayan essentially playing as full backs wasn't a deliberate tactic? Let's not pretend that you didn't expect it because he's done it everywhere he's been - including against yourselves on more than one occasion.

Mourinho has always been a negative, cautious manager, everyone knows it. If he's unable to formulate a game plan to beat other decent teams without parking the bus then he's not the messiah one or two of your board (Robb) paint him to be.
