Conflicting reports regarding his contract. Some are saying a deal is almost agreed and some are saying he wants to leave. We need to sort this out ASAP. Can't afford to lose him on a free transfer next summer.
How much can we get for him now?. I think with his talent we would probably get £20m even with a year left. City and Liverpool are apparently interested. Think if he doesn't sign a new contract before the season starts he should be sold. The old question comes, do we sell him to City or Liverpool?. Don't think any foreign club will touch him.
There is no doubt he is a quality player but he needs consistency and an injury free run.
