Transfer Gossip?

Domestic transfer window is open, so English clubs can sign players from other English clubs but the transfer window for foreign signings opens 1st July.

Transfer window means fack all anyway. Can get them signed when ever just can't register them which during summer doesn't matter.

I read this on how scouting at the club takes places, interesting if you didn't already know it

"Steve Hitchen, the chief scout, worked at the club between 2005 and 2010 as the scout in France. He quickly became the main overseas scout and he returned in February this year, at around the time Paul Mitchell, the former head of recruitment and analysis, was leaving. Hitchen went from Tottenham to Liverpool, where Damien Comolli, the director of football, said he was the “main reason” why the club signed Luis Suárez. Hitchen worked at Queens Park Rangers and Derby County before coming back to Tottenham."

so greavsie what is the point, these windows are crazy

I remember when we announced signing Modric in April 2008 before the season ended. Window was well and truly bolted shut then.
